Charles Wakefield Cadman Archive

Charles Wakefield Cadman (1881-1946) was an American composer who wrote for nearly every musical genre. His chamber music works are generally considered among his best. He helped to found the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and often performed there as a solo pianist. San Diego declared September 4, 1935, as “Cadman Day”
